After a day of activity, our bodies naturally need to slow down. We yawn, our muscles stiffen, and our eyes want to close. Yet our minds can be racing at top speed. How do we learn to slow down our thoughts and relax? We first need to realize that we don't have to do it all ourselves. We can ask for help from a book or a relaxation recording, or we can meditate with Chantal. With these opportunities, we can learn to slow down, unwind, and relax.
For most of our lives, we learned how to be tense. We did not learn to be this way in oen night, we also won't learn to relax completely in one night. Mindfulness is a practice, and meditation is a mindfulness practice.
It's time to register for our October meditation classes. We have one in-person series and many virtual opportunities. Join us!
