Honestly, all it takes is 4 minutes, per day, to begin. Start out slowly. You will discover the truth and reap the rewards of this mindful meditation practice. Find a comfortable place to sit and be quiet. Close your eyes. Begin breathing slowly and steadily. Nice inhale; deep exhale. Keep your focus on your breath. When your mind wanders come back to your breath. Just breathe in and out.
