THE YAWN


Mindfulness 101 - Research shows that yawning quickly relaxes mind and body. Yawning also feeds the brain with much needed oxygen so it can work optimally. Need to relax today or tonight? Need to think quickly or give your brain a jump-start? Give yourself 8 deep yawns. Fill your lungs with air through your nose and mouth and exhale with force. Or just mimic a yawn and relax; fueling your brain with oxygen. Feel your body reap the benefits of this mindful act - the yawn.
