Take a mindful hike. Do a little mindful yoga. Stretch. Be aware of your body and relax into the moment.



Next time you head out for a walk, why not make it a mindful one?

  • Consciously engage your senses.

  • Expand your peripheral vision.

  • Take snapshots.

  • Listen to the sounds and the silence.

  • Smell the air. Breath deeply.

  • Stop to smell the flowers.

It doesn't matter what you do for exercise -- you can vacuum the house mindfully, or enjoy the "zen" of washing the dishes. Whatever you do, just be present and savor the moment detached from the rest of the world and the cares of the day, totally absorbed in whatever you're doing.
