Become "Stress Aware" at Work


Work is one of those places that can bring about stressful situations. Observe what it is that makes you riled at the office. Perhaps it's a particular person not pulling their weight, or excessive talking when you have a deadline to meet, or your manager never notices how much time you devote to projects. Notice the effect these types of situations have on your body. Take a deep breath, exhale and just notice. There is no judgement, just awareness. It is much easier to decide how you want to respond when you are feeling calm. Take a moment to find your calm and then address the issue.
